Dr. Shekhar Mitra brings 30+ years of consumer product innovation and business development experience to F500 and private equity companies. As a global innovation and business leader, Shekhar brings a passion for creating strategies, capabilities and breakthrough ideas for brands and new business opportunities.

Prior to joining YourEncore as a Strategic Advisor, he served as the Former Senior Vice President of Global Innovation at P&G. In this role, he created P&G’s global innovation strategy and new business opportunities with a balanced portfolio of transformational, adjacent, and core innovations. As a member of P&G’s Global Leadership Council and New Business Creation Innovation Team, he also collaborated to create renewed innovation strategies and a pipeline of new product concepts, designs, and businesses.

In 2010, he was awarded the prestigious Ellis Island Medal of Honor recognized by the U.S. Congress and listed in the Congressional Record for his contributions to touching/improving lives via innovation leadership and community service.
